Cllr. Grace O'Donnell elected Mayor

 

Cllr. Grace O'Donnell (FG) has been unanimously elected as Mayor of Tralee for the coming year and outgoing Mayor Cllr. Gillian Wharton-Slattery (Lab) as Deputy Mayor at the Annual General Meeting of Tralee Town Council on June 21. Cllr. O'Donnell thanked her fellow councillors for their support as well as that of her her family and friends. Cllr. O'Donnell was first elected to the Council in 2009 and has played key roles in the Tralee Tidy Towns effort, Junior Rotary, Tralee Rugby Club and the Tralee-Westlake, Ohio sister city project.
