Kerry
County Museum hosted a series of children’s workshops on
Saturday December 13th and 20th on the
art of creating traditional Christmas decorations. The 90 minute
workshops directed by the Museum’s Education Officer Claudia
Kohler involved local children making stained glass lanterns and
a wide array of Christmas tree decorations. All the sessions
were fully booked and a great time was had by all. It is the
latest in a series of innovations by the museum to involve the
local community in its work.
