Educate Together Student Group Visit Town Hall

The new student council of the Tralee Educate Together School in Killeen visited the Town Hall on November 11 and were greeted by the Deputy Mayor Cllr. Mairead Fernane. They were briefed on the operation of the Council by Town Clerk Michael Scannell and on the history of Tralee and Tidy Towns initiatives by Development Officer John Griffin. The group were joined by Acting Principal Mr. Denis Reidy and representatives of the Parents' Association Francisse Walshe and Maryanne Keane.  The D/Mayor presented each child with a signed scroll and badge crest as mementos of their visit.
